Rotala Red
Rotala rotundifolia Red is an easy to keep stem plant. To achieve the red coloration, the addition of a plant fertilizer and strong light is recommended. This is a fast growing plant so frequent trimming is recommended. Like all stem plants, you can replant the trimming to start new plants. Rotala rotundifolia Red originates from from Southeast Asia. The plant is best used as in mid or background placement. Keep in mind that the coloration, size, and shape of this plant are subject to the conditions the plants are kept. The leaves on Rotala species can be fragile and it is recommended they are handled with care. Use of a high quality planted tank substrate and CO2 injection can help yield better growth. *Rapid changes in tank parameters can result in the melting of the plant Scientific Name: Rotala rotundifolia "red" Light Requirements: Low to High Care Level: Easy/Medium Note: Please do additional research on your plant to ensure its health. Littorella Uniflora
Littorella Uniflora is a great foreground plant for those low tech tanks. If you have a low tech tank, you can make a carpet with this plant easily. It can also be used as a lush mid-ground plant. The plants put off runners a lot like vallisneria. Snow Ball Shrimp
Snowball Shrimp are freshwater aquarium shrimp with a consistent, pure white or translucent body. They are a selectively bred Neocaridina davidi variety known for their uniform color, small size (0.75–1.25 inches), and peaceful demeanor. Their name comes from their pure white eggs, which, like the adults, resemble miniature snowballs. They are excellent scavengers, contributing to a clean and healthy aquarium environment. Physical Characteristics Color: Pure white or translucent, providing a beautiful contrast in planted aquariums. Size: Adults typically grow to about 0.75–1.25 inches. Eggs: The "snowball" name refers to the pure white eggs carried by the females. Behavior and Role in the Aquarium Peaceful: They have a gentle nature and coexist harmoniously with other small tank inhabitants. Scavengers: Snowball Shrimp are excellent at cleaning the tank by grazing on algae, biofilm, and uneaten food.
