Scientific Name: Bolbitis Heteroclita Sold As: Bare root Care Level: Easy Lighting Requirement: Low Co2: Not Needed Growth Rate: Slow! Origin: Africa Tank Placement: Midground-Background Similar to other Bolbitis, this plant has one stand out difference and that its leaves are very broad, much like anubias. It's a truly beautiful but slow growing plant. It grows similar to Anubias and Java Fern. It likes to be tied to rocks or driftwood. Propagation is easy just cut the rhizome after you have a portion you want to move. I recommend only propagating after it has 3 leaves on both sides. Most plants are sold as trimmings from rooted plants unless otherwise stated. All trimmings will be at least 3" in height unless otherwise noted.
Aquarium Compatibility
Driftwood provides hiding spots and lowers pH slightly — great for Corydoras, Plecos, and shrimp. It also grows beneficial biofilm that Otocinclus and shrimp graze on.

Dwarf Hairgrass | Eleocharis Acicularis
