Araguaia Hygrophila Hygrophila lancea "Araguaia"is an unique variation of hygrophila that is named after the Brazilian river it was found in. When grown in the right parameters this plant can develop reddish brown coloration. This plant has a unique shape that gives off the appearance of a bush but has a stem like plant construction. This species of plant thrives best using a nutrient rich soil with additional fertilization. If not provided enough nutrients it can decrease the ability of this plant to grow. Inclusion of CO2 will help this plant grow rapidly. *Rapid changes in tank parameters can result in the melting of the plant Scientific Name: Hygrophila lancea "Araguaia" Light Requirements: Medium - High Care Level: Easy Note: Please do additional research on your plant to ensure its health.
